SPECIAL EDUCATION

The Upper Saddle River Special Education Department consists of the Child Study Team, Special Education Teachers and Paraprofessionals. The Child Study Team consists of Psychologists, Social Worker, Learning Consultants, Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapists.

  • Programs for students ages 3 through 8th grade are provided at Reynolds, Bogert and Cavallini Schools. These programs are for students, including homeless and migrant students, who have an identified disabling condition and/or a measurable developmental delay in physical, social, communication, and/or emotional areas and who may requires and would benefit from special education and related services. for these services is determined by a Child Study Team evaluation of the child. Any resident who has a child ages 3 through 8th grade, who may require special services, should contact the Child Study Team office at 201-961-6385. Project “Child Find” serves special needs children from birth to 21 years of age.
