| The Instructional Level Spelling program is used and students are assigned words at their specific spelling level. The student spelling level is decided by an inventory given in September. This program focuses on a specific skill or related skills for each list. For instance, List 1 contains all short vowel words, List 11 contains silent letter words such as comb, and knight. The goal of the program is to see a carry over of general spelling rules and skills into the student's daily work.
All spelling pretests are given on A-Day. Spelling tests are given on F-Day.
