June:

Report cards will go home on the last day of school, June 20th.

Please remember to sign your child's signed folder every night and to look at the notices and corrected papers to keep you informed of what we are learning in the subject areas and how your child is doing. Thank you.

If your child is being dismissed early or is going home a different way than usual, it would be most helpful to send in a written note with your child that morning. Also, if your family and child are going to be on a vacation not scheduled on our school calendar, it would be helpful for attendance purposes to let me know. I then can let the secretary who does attendance know. This will eliminate an unnecessary phone call to your home.

When your child is absent I would appreciate it if you could make arrangements to pick up your child's work for that day. If your child needs his/her assignments for a second day, it would be helpful to return any completed work when the new work is picked up. I would be able to have the homework sent to the Bogert front office by 2:00 PM. Of course, the exception to doing the work when absent is if your child is too ill to do it.

June 20th will be an early dismissal day.

Our class trip will be on June 4th. We will be visiting the Morristown College Planetarium.

A handwritten invitation will be sent home letting you know the date and time of our States on Parade movie. The movie will be shown in our classroom, room 59.

It has been a pleasure to teach your children this year. Have a safe and enjoyable summer. See you in September!
