| Math- Knowing our multiplication facts really comes in handy for unit 9. We are learning how to multiply 2 and 3 digit numbers using a variety of algorithms.

| Science- Our last unit of study for Science will be our sound unit. Students will learn how sounds are made, and make instruments of their own as a final project. | |||||||||||
| Social Studies- Who are Americans? This essential question will be the basis of our next unit in Social Studies where we take a look at all of the people who helped make our country what it is today. | |||||||||||
| Writing- We have been studying how feature articles in magazines are written, and will be writing our own articles over the next few weeks. | |||||||||||
| Reading- Now that we know how to have great conversations about the books we read, we are ready to begin our literature circles. Our first novel will be a class shared novel, so we can listen to each other's conversations, and learn even more. After that, we will begin choosing our own novels, and forming new literature circle groups. | |||||||||||
