What to include in your biography:

In your first paragraph you should include your president’s background information. This includes, but is not limited to, date and place of birth, family information, hobbies, instruments played, pets owned etc. Try to be as specific as possible. Although this information is factual, it should be in your own words.

     Your next few paragraphs should be major lifetime accomplishments. This would include things like graduating from college, winning an award, winning an election, getting married, having kids, etc.

     The last few paragraphs that you write about should be the effects or impact that your president has had on society. Was there any historical significance? Did your president pass any laws that helped or hurt society?, etc.

     Finally, in your last paragraph, you should tell whether or not you think your president is someone that could be looked up to. Why or why not?

 

In addition to writing a 2-page biography, you will need to create a visual timeline for your president.

 

After completing these assignments, we will present our presidents as an entire class.
