Classroom Policies and Procedures

1. Every night students should be reading for 30 minutes.

2. If homework is not completed, students receive an "Ooops" slip. All missing assignments are completed the next evening. "Ooops" slips are to be signed and returned to me. Two missed assignment (and this includes returning signed tests) results in a missed turn in our "Homeworkopoly" game. (Played every Friday.)

3. All tests will be sent home to be signed. Tests should be signed and sent back to school the next day.

4. Spelling tests are every Friday, unless there is a shortened week of school, in which case we will either have a test Thursday, or no spelling at all that week.

5. Students should be practicing division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction math facts for 10-20 minutes a night. The students have all done excellent in multiplication and division, but everything needs to be reinforced!

6. When it is a student's birthday, they may absolutely bring in a treat! However, please make sure the treat is free of any peanuts and is easy to distribute (no cakes or drinks please). Please do not send goody-bags to school.

7. Please bring a healthy snack to school each day!
