Challenge:
You work for the tourism department of NJ. Your job is to inform people of the things New Jersey has to offer. You need to gather information on geography, cities, history, job opportunities, and things to do for fun.
 

Task:
Your group will be assigned one of New Jersey’s Counties. You are to research that county and the cities, attractions, etc.
Complete a New Jersey map and label the county, some cities, and region.
Create a brochure encouraging people to move to that county of New Jersey. Explain everything the county has to offer.

Situations:
Student groups research using the Internet, newspapers, textbooks, brochures, and magazines on a city or town in New Jersey in their assigned region. They look for information to help support a persuasive letter about the area and create a brochure.

Assessment:
Brochure will contain details about the county, including the following:

Industry, History, Entertainment, Outdoor fun, Motto, Famous people.
