The Buffalo Hunt

If you have been assigned to report on buffalo hunting you will be required to do two illustrations and to write three brief reports.

Your first illustration must depict a buffalo hunt before the time that Indians had horses. Include as musch detail as possible.

Your second illustration must depict a buffalo hunt after Indians began to use horses.

You are also required to write three brief reports.

Your first report should describe the difficulties of hunting buffalo on foot. What strategies did the Indians use? Was it difficult? Was it dangerous?

The second report should focus on the advantage the horses brought to the Indians, especially on the hunt.

The third report should tell how the Indians used the buffalo they hunted. Be as thorough as possible.
