What is a "just right book"?
- I remember what is going on in a story.
|
|
- Readers read in a voice that sounds like they are talking.
- Readers think about the meaning of a sentence or story and go back and reread and figure out the tricky part and go back and read it smoothly.
- Readers chunk text to make it sound smooth.
- Readers use punctuation as a clue to how text sounds.
- Readers use clues in the text.
- Readers use a storyteller's voice while reading.
- Readers read with expression.
