Who is the Bogert Student Council?

The Bogert Student Council is a fifth grade after school program for selected fifth graders that focuses on leadership and community service opportunities.

THE BOGERT STUDENT COUNCIL IS COMPOSED OF FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS WHO ARE:

*DEDICATED *ENTHUSIASTIC
*EAGER TO HELP OTHERS *DEPENDABLE
*OUTGOING *COOPERATIVE

What does the Bogert Student Council do?

Bogert Activity Days:  This is a special school activity specifically designed for all third, fourth and fifth grade students.  Each grade will be invited to join the Student Council representatives in different school activities.  Each activity will give the students the opportunity to interact with other students on a common need/ idea.

Fundraisers:  In order to accomplish many of the goals that the Student Council has already created, money needs to be raised.  Some of the fundraisers this year will be Bagel Breakfasts and Muffin Mondays.

School Community Service:  Each representative has signed up to be a part of a particular committee that will help service the school. In previous years, the Student Council helped to pay for, and create, a beautiful flowerbed outside of Bogert.  Another committee will be designated to help the Bogert staff on special assembly days.  These students will be responsible for creating fliers and posters for upcoming school events and working with various staff members. Each representative will have the opportunity to work on each of the committees throughout the year.
