Things to do at home
  • Some of the skills we will be working on while reading our just right books are:
  • Reading with Fluency
  • Using punctuation marks to read with a storyteller's voice
  • Taking our time
  • reading with expression
  • noticing patterns in books
  • talking about books with a partner
  • Check your child's folder every night for notes and homework.
  • Remember to read with your child each night and fill in the star paper!
  • Dress your child appropriately as the weather gets colder!
  • Label all of your child's clothing
  • Send in a healthy snack everyday!
  • Send in:
    • 10 dimes
    • pillow case for Native American costume
    • empty Oatmeal boxes
  • Nov. 6th - Parent Conferences (no school for students)
