You will receive a newsletter at the end of each week along with most of the work your child has completed. This will help you understand the what, how, and why of the week's actvities. It is also a good link to discuss what your child is learning and doing during the school day. School notices will be sent home in your child's Home Folder. Please send any notes to the teacher or office in this folder. If you send in money for any reason, please send it in a labeled envelope. Be
sure to include your child's name, class, amount, and
purpose for the money. Please feel free to write me a note
or call if you have any questions or concerns.
Please notify the attendance office @ 201-961-6300 X6376 with the reason for your child's absence. If your child will be absent for two days or more, please let me know as well.
Since the day gets progressivley warmer, please dress
your child in layers. We go outside twice a day and want
everyone to be comfortable and enjoy this time. Please label
all articles of clothing that they may remove.
Please send in healthy snacks. Fruits and vegetables with water as a drink are the best options. Candy of any kind is not an acceptable snack.
Please include a
substantial and healthy lunch and drink that your child will
eat.
Please let me know which day you plan on sending in a treat for your child's birthday. We typically celebrate at the end of the day that the treat is sent in. It is best to contact me in advance to make sure the snack can be enjoyed by all of the children. Please do not send in any products that contain peanuts. I encourage healthy choices - your child's favorite fruit is always welcome!
If there is a change in your child's normal transportation, please send a note! Children will not be allowed to go home with a friend without written documentation. To insure the children's safety at carpool dismissal, please make sure that I have acknowledged that your child is with you.
