Reading Workshop:
Mrs. Cherubino "caught" the children being good readers and snapped photos! The class brainstormed a list of things we already know about what good readers do! We have begun to lengthen our reading time by having an independent reading time and a buddy reading time!
Writing Workshop:
The children have been working as authors and illustrators by using sketches (and sometimes words) to tell stories from their own lives. They have learned how to make their stories even better by adding details and showing "who" and "where". We chose our favorite story to "fancy-up" and will share them with Mrs. Brouhle's class for our first writing celebration!
