It is necessary for children to return their TAKE HOME folder and TOTE BAG every day with completed homework assignments. If your child attends the Resource Program Classes for Reading and Language Arts class, they are responsible for having their Journal in their folder as well as their completed homework assignment. If your child attends for Math Replacement, there will be a homework assignment (Home Link) that needs to be returned for a quick review the following day. Homework assignments are intended to encourage responsibility and to reinforce the concepts taught in class.

The Academic Support classes of the Resource Program are very prescriptive and tutorial in nature. The assignments are generated from the homeroom class teacher. In the Resource Program, students have a work folder that is prepared for them individually to further develop their prescribed lessons. Children are allowed to choose "dessert" from this folder only when their assignment is completed from their homeroom class. Children attending the Resource Program for Academic Support classes are not responsible for homework.
