Spelling Homework Routines For Grade One Replacement Classes Monday • Study new spelling words from the list and write your words 2 times each in your journal. Tuesday • Write sentences for three of your of spelling words. Wednesday •Fill in the sentences on the take home paper in your folder. Thursday • Unscramble your words and write them again on the take home paper in your folder. STUDY your words for the test on Friday. Friday • NO HOMEWORK TODAY! Tuesday • Write sentences for half of your of spelling words. Wednesday •Write sentences with the remainder of your list of spelling words. Thursday • Do the comprehension sentence "fill-in" work sheet and STUDY your words for the test on Friday. Friday • NO HOMEWORK TODAY! **For Both Grades One and Two** • Please see inside the composition book and folder for detailed homework instruction. In addition to the spelling homework, there may be a phonics, or reinforcement page from workbooks. Please check the Tote Bag and folder daily.
Mathematics Homework Routines For Grades One and Two Replacement Classes Children in the Resource Program are taught the Everyday Math curriculum. There will be a Home Link or an occasional skill related assignment to complete Monday through Thursday. It is helpful to keep your Family Letter for each unit of study in a safe place. This is a quick reference to assist you with the daily Home Links. Monday• Home Link Tuesday • Home Link Wednesday • Home Link Thursday • Home Link Friday • No Homework!
